SHH Now

I've been sick for a couple of days, so SHH Now was the only one who got any attention at all. Here's my progress pics (before and after) for the week:

I decided to make a new start, something small for a change. And I have never stitched anything from JBG, though she's one of my favourite artists. So here she is, Faces of Faery 187:

SHH Now

Well, here's my progress on SHH Now after a week worth of stitching. It's a close up 'cause I'll carry on with this another week.

Tässä aikaansaannokseni viikon ajalta SHH Now-mallissa. Tämä on lähikuva, koska jatkan tämän pistelyä vielä toisen viikon enkä viitsinyt irrottaa kehyksiä kuvaamisen takia.

I'll probably give some love for PR Mystery SAL too (for a day or two). I'm way behind, but after all it's the journey not the end which counts :)

Pistelen todennäköisesti myös PR Mystery-yhteispistelyä päivän tai pari. Olen hyvin jäljessä, mutta matkahan tässä on tärkein eikä päämäärä :)

QS Theatre of the Absurd

Wow, it's been a long time since I've updated this blog! Sorry for being absent and hopefully you'll carry on reading and following :) The main reason has been that I've totally lost my mojo and didn't stitch anything for a couple of months. I've become to a conclusion that my rotation was probably too big (or scattered). So, I've decided to focus on two or three pieces, which are the SAL piece (QS Theatre of the Absurd) and SHH Now and occasionally Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL. I'll probably pull out some of my BAP's once in a while, but not in a specific order. And another change will be that there won't be an update after a page finish but I'll rotate every or every other week. But I'll try to update this blog every Friday (or Sat) from now on :)

And the SAL piece (on HAED BB), which was QS Theatre of the Absurd. Here's my first progress picture, I've stitched approx 1/3 of the first page:

Oho, onpa siitä kauan kun olen viimeksi päivittänyt tätä blogia! Anteeksi, että olen ollut näin kauan teillä tietymättömillä, mutta toivottavasti jaksatte jatkaa lukemista ja seuraamista :) Suurin syy, miksi täällä on ollut näin hiljaista on ollut se, etten pistellyt mitään pariin kuukauteen. Olenkin tullut nyt siihen lopputulokseen, että minulla oli liian monta työtä kesken tai oikeastaan mikään työ ei tuntunut edistyvän yhtään. Joten olen nyt päättänyt keskittyä kahteen tai kolmeen työhön, jotka ovat yhteispistely (QS Theatre of the Absurd) ja SHH Now, sekä silloin tällöin Passione Ricamo Mystery yhteispistely. Tulen varmaankin pistelemään toisinaan myös muita isompia töitä, mutta en missään tietyssä järjestyksessä. Ja toinen muutos tulee siihen, että uutta päivitystä blogiin ei tulekaan aina yhden sivun valmistumisen jälkeen, vaan vaihdan työn alla olevaa pistelyä joka tai joka toinen viikko. Mutta yritän siis päivittää tätä blogia joka perjantai (tai lauantai) tästä eteenpäin :)

Tässä aloitukseni , eli HAED-yhteispistely (keskustelufoorumilla), joka siis on QS Theatre of the Absurd. Ja tässä siis ensimmäinen kuva edistymisestäni (noin 1/3 ensimmäisestä sivusta pisteltynä):

Though I'm pleased with what I've done, I'm kind of disappointed that some of my wip's (Wrath, Evolutionistic and I See the Light) didn't get my attention at all in the whole year. So my first resolution for 2013 is that, everything must be touched at least once a year. It probably means that I need to limit my new starts too. So I'll be starting the new SAL piece on HAED BB in January (see the pic below, it's called QS Theatre of the Absurd), and will allow to myself one new HAED and one non-HAED start next year, if I'll decide so.

Vaikka olen tyytyväinen siihen, mitä olen saanut aikaiseksi, silti olen hieman pettynyt, että jotkin työt jäivät kokonaan syrjään (Wrath, Evolutionistic ja I See the Light), enkä pistellyt niitä tänä vuonna lainkaan. Siitä syntyykin ensimmäinen lupaukseni ensi vuodelle, eli haluan pistellä jokaista työtäni vuoden aikana. Se varmaankin siis meinaa, että minun pitää rajoittaa myös uusien töiden aloittamista. Joten aloitan tammikuussa HAED-keskustelufoorumin yhteispistelyn (katso kuvaa alla, nimi on QS Theatre of the Absurd), sekä annan itselleni luvan aloittaa yhden HAED-työn sekä jonkin toisen työn ensi vuonna, jos niin haluan.

My other resolutions for 2013 will be...

- finish at least 2½ pages of QS Theatre of the Absurd so I'll be qualified for the rest of the charts

- finish one HAED (haven't decided yet which one to focus on next year)

- finish PR Mystery SAL

- participate in YOTA (if you haven't heard of it before, click the link), and my first YOTA-piece will be QS  Bunch of Love (which I'll be stitching monthly)

Muut lupaukseni vuodelle 2013 ovat...

- pistellä ainakin 2½ sivua QS Theatre of the Absurd-mallia, jotta saisin vuoden lopussa muutkin mallit

- saada yksi HAED-työ valmiiksi (en ole vielä päättänyt, mihin töistä keskityn ensi vuonna)

- saada PR Mystery-yhteispistely valmiiksi

- ottaa osaa YOTA-tempaukseen (jos et ole vielä kuullut siitä, klikkaa linkkiä), ja ensimmäinen YOTA-työni tulee olemaan QS Bunch of Love (jota pistelen kuukausittain)

Sunrise

Yay, I made it! Here's the second page of Sunrise (sorry the quality of the pic):

And now I've actually reached all my yearly goals on HAED BB. I'll concentrate on PR Mystery SAL and try to do as much as I can before the next page comes (which is 1st Jan).

Ja nyt olen itseasiassa saavuttanut kaikki koko vuoden tavoitteeni HAED-keskustelufoorumilla. Keskityn nyt PR Mystery-yhteispistelyyn ja yritän saada kuudetta sivua pisteltyä niin paljon kuin mahdollista ennen seuraavan sivun julkaisua (joka on tammikuun ensimmäinen päivä).

Diamond

Here's the first row of Diamond finished (the pic is a little bit yellowish due the artificial light)!

Sain ensimmäisen sivurivin valmiiksi Diamond-mallista (otin kuvan sähkölampun valossa, joten kuva on hieman kellertävä)!

One of my WIPocalypse and a yearly goal in HAED BB is also completed, and I'm trying my best to complete the last one (one page of Sunrise). It is obvious that I cannot make my half year goals in HAED BB, as I started something (a christmas card) before I've finished a wip. And of course two pages of Garnet in just over two weeks isn't going to happen. But hopefully I can finish the second page of Sunrise before the year ends. I'm stitching the sixth page of PR Mystery SAL along with it.

Yksi WIPocalypse ja HAED BB:n vuoden tavoitteistani on nyt saavutettu ja yritän saada viimeisen koko vuoden tavoitteistani pisteltyä vielä tämän vuoden aikana (sehän oli yksi sivu Sunrise-mallista). On selvää, etten pysty tavoittamaan puolen vuoden tavoitteitani HAED BB:lla, koska aloitin uuden työn (joulukortin) ennen kuin olin saanut jotakin vanhaa valmiiksi, sekä kaksi sivua Garnet-mallista vajaassa kolmessa viikossa on mahdottomuus. Mutta ehkäpä saan toisen sivun Sunrise-mallista valmiiksi ennen vuoden vaihdetta. Pistelen myös kuudetta sivua PR Mystery SAL:ista samaan aikaan sen kanssa.

A Christmas Card

Here's a little finish, which I started a couple of weeks ago:

It'll be a christmas card, when I'll get to it. But I'm usually such bad when it comes to finishing things, they tend to be buried in my stitchy drawer... And yes, I know I failed with one of my WIPocalypse goals as I started something before I finished a wip. But this was a must stitch, a friend of mine has been in a hospital for months. She's been like a grandma for me since I was a kid, so I wanted to stitch something just for her for Christmas. This was a kit and I cannot recall which catalogue or magazine it has come with.

Tästä tulee joulukortti, kunhan pääsen siihen asti. Mutta olen yleensä aika huono viimeistelemään näitä valmiiksi saatuja juttuja, nämä tuppaavat usein jäämään vain laatikon pohjalle... Ja tiedän, että tämän myötä epäonnistuin eräässä WIPocalypse-tavoitteessani, aloitin uuden työn ennen kuin sain edellistä keskeneräistä valmiiksi. Mutta tämä oli sellainen pakko tehdä-juttu, ystäväni on ollut sairaalassa nyt jo kuukausia. Hän on ollut minulle aina ikään kuin "varamummi", joten halusin pistellä jotain vain hänelle jouluksi. Tämä oli valmis pakkaus, mutta en nyt millään saa päähäni minkä kuvaston tai lehden mukana on tullut.

SK Blue Moon

Instead of I See the Light, I decided to stitch SK Blue Moon. I needed one more picture to HAED BB, so I'd be entitled to the rest of the SAL pieces. And I managed to do quite a lot in a few days, so here are before and after pics:

Päätinkin pistellä SK Blue Moon-mallia I See the Light-mallin sijasta, koska tarvitsin vielä yhden kuvan HAED-keskustelufoorumille ollakseni oikeutettu muihin yhteispistelymalleihin. Sainkin ihan kivasti aikaan muutamassa päivässä, joten tässä ennen ja jälkeen kuvat:

The after pic was taken in an artificial light, so it's a little bit yellowish. I'm trying to put some stitches in to I See the Light, before the sixth part of Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL will be released.

Jälkimmäinen kuva on otettu sähkölampun valossa, joten siitä johtuu keltaisuus. Yritän nyt pistellä jonkin verran I See the Light-mallia ennen kuin kuudes osa Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL:ista julkaistaan.

QS A Bunch of Love

I've been stitching this every now and then for a couple of weeks, and here's my progress so far. I decided to put before and after pics so you can actually see a difference, lol:
