Sorry for the bad quality of the pics. I modified the chart to suit more to my taste, so it differs from the original a little bit. But I'm pleased with it and that's the main thing :) I've been stitching I See the Light too (which is my only non-HAED now):

Pahoitteluni huonolaatuisista kuvista. Muokkasin mallia vastaamaan enemmän omia mieltymyksiäni, joten tämä eroaa alkuperäisestä jonkin verran. Mutta olen tyytyväinen tähän ja sehän on se tärkein asia :) Olen myös pistellyt I See the Light-mallia (joka on nyt ainoa ei-HAED-mallini tällä hetkellä):

And just to clarify, I'm not even halfway through in this project, there are two full and two partial pages left (and the page I'm working on at the moment). I'll add a pic to the sidebar so you can see how he'll look like one day.

QS A Bunch of Love & Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL (2012)

Though there have been no updates, I'm still here and stitching! :) I had placed the Q-snaps so perfectly that didn't want to take them off until I had finished the section. So without further ado, here she is:

Täällä ollaan ja pistellään, vaikka päivityksiä ei olekaan tullut :) Olin asetellut ompelukehykseni niin loistavaan paikkaan, etten raaskinut irrottaa sitä ja ottaa päivityskuvia ennen kuin olin saanut koko sen osion pisteltyä. Mutta tässä siis päivitys merenneidosta:

Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL (2012)

As you probably guessed I got sidetracked with Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL. I did only a few stitches on World Travel so it's not even worth of a pic. But here's my fairy:

Kuten varmaan otsikosta voi päätellä, pistelysuunnitelmat muuttuivat viikon aikana ja pistelinkin Passione Ricamo Mystery-yhteispistelyä. Pistelin World Travel-malliin vain muutamia pistoja, joten ei kannata ottaa edes päivityskuvaa. Mutta tässä keiju:

I never thought I'd get so much beading done, there's a full package of beads. I'll modify this more from the original, not yet sure how but we'll see.

En olisi ikinä uskonut, että jaksaisin kerralla kiinnittää näin paljon helmiä, tuossa on siis kokonainen rasiallinen niitä. Muokkaan mallia mieleisekseni vielä alkuperäisestä, tosin en ole vielä varma että miten.

Faces of Faery 187 & Passione Ricamo Mystery (2012)

I finished the third page and the first row of pages (sorry, the pic seems a bit wonky). I thought it was a dragon's tail next to her hair, but just figured she has wings, lol.

Sain kolmannen sivun ja ensimmäisen sivurivin valmiiksi (kuva näyttää olevan vähän kiero, pahoitteluni). Luulin pisteleväni lohikäärmeen häntää hiusten vieressä, mutta tajusinkin että tytöllä on siivet, hah.

I finally finished the backstitches and beading in the central design of Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL (2012). I'm not going to add the backstitches to the wings, in my opinion they are beautiful as they are now (plus I didn't like the colour the designer has chosen to them). There are still loads of beading to do in the border, so I'm still far of the finish. Here are two pics so you could actually see the beading.

Sain valmiiksi viimein Passione Ricamo Mystery yhteispistelyn (2012) jälkipistot ja helmet kiinni itse keijuun. En aio tehdä jälkipistoja lainkaan siipiin, minusta ne eivät sitä kaipaa (enkä pitänyt suunnittelijan valitsemasta väristä). Vielä on jäljellä runsaasti helmen kiinnitystä mallin kiertävään reunukseen, joten valmis tämä ei vielä ole. Ohessa kaksi kuvaa, jotta helmet näkyisivät paremmin.

I've decided to rearrange my rotation. I feel burnt out of some wip's, especially these two (FoF187 and PR Mystery). And I've been feeling quite overwhelmed after taking more wip's "on hold"-status to the rotation, so it's time to cut down the amount and start over. I'll start with two and increase the amount when it feels like it. The wip's I'm starting with are QS A Bunch of Love and Garnet. These are the one's I'm most in love with at the moment.

Olen päättänyt uudelleenjärjestää pistelysysteemiäni. Olen ollut melkoisen tympiintynyt joihinkin töihini, varsinkin näihin kahteen (Faces of Faery 187 ja PR Mystery-yhteispistely). Sen jälkeen kun olen lisäillyt töitä pistelylaatikkoon "odotus"-statuksesta, olen ollut vähän häkeltynyt siitä, mitä pistellä seuraavaksi. Joten nyt on aika taas siivota pöytä ja aloittaa alusta. Aloitan kahdesta ja lisään töitä sitä mukaa kun hyvältä tuntuu. Aloitan nyt QS A Bunch of Love- ja Garnet-malleilla. Nämä kaksi vetoavat tällä hetkellä eniten.

And here's my progress so far on Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL (2012). I figured out how to do the border just flipping the pages around so it would run consistently. Now there's ahead the most disliking part; backstitches and beading (that's one of the reasons why I love HAEDs so much!).

Ja tässä edistymiseni Passione Ricamo Mystery-yhteispistelyssä (2012). Keksin miten saada reunus kiertämään yhtäjaksoisesti kääntelemällä sivuja ympäriinsä. Nyt on edessä kaikista inhottavimmat osuudet, eli jälkipistot ja helmien kiinnitys (siinä varmaan yksi syy, miksi olen niin ihastunut HAED-malleihin!)

Long time no see

Welcome to my new followers, hopefully you'll enjoy my work :)

Well, it has been quite awhile since I've posted anything at all. We had a great vacation with kids, had great time in the Moomin World. I have nothing but praises to say, it is a fantastic theme park absolutely! :)

Tervetuloa uudet lukijat, toivottavasti pidätte töistäni :)

Siitä onkin aika kauan aikaa, kun olen viimeksi postannut yhtään mitään. Meillä oli hurjan hauska loma lasten kanssa, käytiin mm.Muumimaailmassa. Minulla on vain hyvää sanottavaa siitä paikasta, kerta kaikkiaan mahtava paikka! :) 

 

After we got back home, my stitchy bug took a hiatus for a couple of weeks, I didn't pick up a needle at all. I was getting back to the rhythm, but then one of my dear family member passed away pretty suddenly in the middle of July. I've been stitching on and off since then, in fact when I had any time to do stitching. But without further ado, here are some pictures :)

First of all is Faces of Faery 187, which I've worked only a little bit (you can see the start of her dagger):

Kotiin tulon jälkeen pistelyinto lopahti pariksi viikoksi täysin, en kertaakaan koskenut neulaan. Olin jokseenkin taas löytämässä pistelyintoa, mutta heinäkuun puolessa välissä eräs rakas perheenjäsen nukkui pois yllättäen. Olen pistellyt siitä asti aina silloin tällöin, lähinnä kun on ollut yhtään aikaa. Mutta pidemmittä puheitta, tässä joitakin kuvia :)

Ensinnä on Faces of Faery 187, jota olen työstänyt aika vähän (tikarin alun voi jo nähdä):

The second one is Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL (2012). I've actually finished all the stitching part from the center! :)

Toinen työ, jota olen tehnyt on Passione Ricamo Mystery-yhteispistely (vuodelta 2012). Itseasiassa sain valmiiksi koko pistelyosuuden keskeltä! :)

Now I'll have to figure out how to do the border without the writing. And she probably insist some backstitches, though I'm not so fond of doing them ;) I have SHH Now in my Q-snaps, so the next update will be on her after I've finished the current page I'm working on. (I'm not making any promises when it will be.)

Nyt pitää keksiä miten tehdä köynnös reunoille ilman kirjoitusta. Ja en varmaankaan pääse jälkipistoja karkuun tälläkään kertaa, vaikken niistä erityisemmin pidä ;) Tällä hetkellä ompelukehyksessä on SHH Now-malli, joten seuraava päivitys tulee siitä, kunhan saan tämän meneillään olevan sivun valmiiksi. (En tee lupauksia siitä, kuinka nopeasti seuraava postaus tulee.)

Alicia asked if I'm going to join the new mystery SAL. I haven't made up my mind yet, I'd love to but don't know if there's any room in my so called rotation. I've figured, it would be nice to reduce the number of wip's but will that ever happen, we'll see. But again, my soft spot are mermaids and fairies so who knows :) And actually Kim pointed out how she has fell out of love with stitching this because of the writing (it says fatum). I won't be stitching it, I'm going to modify the border instead. But I'll be thinking of it once the fairie is done.

Alicia kysyi, aionko osallistua uuteen Passione Ricamo Mystery-yhteispistelyyn. En ole vielä päättänyt. Haluaisin kovasti, mutta en tiedä onko minulla tilaa tässä niin sanotussa pistelysysteemissäni. Olen ajatellut, että olisi mukavaa vähentää keskeneräisten töiden määrää, mutta käykö oikeasti niin, jää nähtäväksi. Mutta jälleen kerran, merenneidot ja keijut ovat heikko kohtani, joten kuka tietää :) Kim pointtasi kuinka hän oli alkanut vieroksua tätä työtä sen jälkeen, kun paljastui että alalaidassa on kirjoitusta (siinä lukee fatum). En aio itse pistellä sitä lainkaan, vaan tulen tuunaamaan mallia sen verran että köynnös reunassa menee kuvan ympärillä. Mutta mietin miten sen teen, kunhan olen saanut keijun ensin valmiiksi.

I've been stitching PR Mystery sal for the past week, and here's my daily progress:

I had to move the Q-snaps, so that's why it's looking like I would've done lots of frogging for the last couple of pictures. But I haven't, thankfully  :)

Minun piti siirtää ompelukehystä, joten siksi pari viimeistä kuvaa näyttävät siltä kuin olisin joutunut purkamaan jo kerran ommeltua. Mutta onneksi en siis ole joutunut :)

Well, it's a spring in the northern part of world and what does it usually mean? Spring cleaning! I didn't have much time to stitch during last week due cleaning windows, organizing cupboards and wardrobes, dusting and other "fascinating" stuff. So my tag of the week is this Garfield, I felt exactly the same every now and then. Hopefully I'll have more time to stitch next week!

Täällä pohjoisella pallonpuoliskolla kun on nyt kevät, niin sehän tietenkin tarkoittaa kevätsiivousta! Enpä saanut kauheasti pistelyaikaa menneellä viikolla, sillä aikani meni ikkunanpesuun, kaappien (ja varsinkin vaatekaappien) organisointiin, pölyjen pyyhintään ja muuhun "kiehtovaan". Joten tämän viikon lausahdus tulee Karviselta, jonka tuntemuksen jaoin useaan otteeseen.

Sunrise&PR Mystery sal

Actually I got so bored with the endless sky (there are only a couple of colours right now) that I alternated between Sunrise and PR Mystery SAL. And I got the most of the seventh part done. I won't be stitching the below part of the border before the whole chart has been released. There's a writing which I'm not sure whether I want to stitch it or not. But here's a pic:

Itseasiassa kyllästyin niin tuohon loputtoman taivaan pistelyyn (siinä on ainoastaan kolmea eri väriä) että vuorottelin tämän Sunrise-mallin sekä PR Mystery-yhteispistelyn kanssa. Ja sainkin suurimman osan seitsemännestä osasta tehtyä. Enkä pistele alapuolella olevaa köynnöstä ennen kuin koko malli on julkaistu. Alhaalla on jotakin kirjoitusta, enkä ole varma haluanko pistellä sitä ollenkaan. Mutta tässä siis kuva:

Wow, life's been really hectic lately. But I've finally finished the sixth part:

This was really quick part to stitch, so here's the fifth page (Sorry the pic isn't great due the artificial light. Winter is here, so days are pretty gloomy.):

Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL

Gosh, how time flies! I haven't finished the third page of Garnet yet, I'm about half-way through it. I might need to reconsider my goals for the rest of the year, I won't probably be able to achieve them all (if I'd like to keep up with PR Mystery SAL). But here's my start on the sal (after 2½ pages):

Vitsit, miten aika lentää! En ole vieläkään saanut kolmatta sivua Garnet:ista valmiiksi, mutta olen puolessa välissä sivua tällä hetkellä. Minun tarvitsee varmaankin harkita uudelleen tavoitteitani loppuvuodelle, en varmaankaan saavuta niitä kaikkia (jos siis tahdon pysyä muiden tahdissa PR Mystery yhteispistelyssä). Mutta tässä ensimmäiset 2½ sivua:
