Faces of Faery 187 & Passione Ricamo Mystery (2012)

I finished the third page and the first row of pages (sorry, the pic seems a bit wonky). I thought it was a dragon's tail next to her hair, but just figured she has wings, lol.

Sain kolmannen sivun ja ensimmäisen sivurivin valmiiksi (kuva näyttää olevan vähän kiero, pahoitteluni). Luulin pisteleväni lohikäärmeen häntää hiusten vieressä, mutta tajusinkin että tytöllä on siivet, hah.

I finally finished the backstitches and beading in the central design of Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL (2012). I'm not going to add the backstitches to the wings, in my opinion they are beautiful as they are now (plus I didn't like the colour the designer has chosen to them). There are still loads of beading to do in the border, so I'm still far of the finish. Here are two pics so you could actually see the beading.

Sain valmiiksi viimein Passione Ricamo Mystery yhteispistelyn (2012) jälkipistot ja helmet kiinni itse keijuun. En aio tehdä jälkipistoja lainkaan siipiin, minusta ne eivät sitä kaipaa (enkä pitänyt suunnittelijan valitsemasta väristä). Vielä on jäljellä runsaasti helmen kiinnitystä mallin kiertävään reunukseen, joten valmis tämä ei vielä ole. Ohessa kaksi kuvaa, jotta helmet näkyisivät paremmin.

I've decided to rearrange my rotation. I feel burnt out of some wip's, especially these two (FoF187 and PR Mystery). And I've been feeling quite overwhelmed after taking more wip's "on hold"-status to the rotation, so it's time to cut down the amount and start over. I'll start with two and increase the amount when it feels like it. The wip's I'm starting with are QS A Bunch of Love and Garnet. These are the one's I'm most in love with at the moment.

Olen päättänyt uudelleenjärjestää pistelysysteemiäni. Olen ollut melkoisen tympiintynyt joihinkin töihini, varsinkin näihin kahteen (Faces of Faery 187 ja PR Mystery-yhteispistely). Sen jälkeen kun olen lisäillyt töitä pistelylaatikkoon "odotus"-statuksesta, olen ollut vähän häkeltynyt siitä, mitä pistellä seuraavaksi. Joten nyt on aika taas siivota pöytä ja aloittaa alusta. Aloitan kahdesta ja lisään töitä sitä mukaa kun hyvältä tuntuu. Aloitan nyt QS A Bunch of Love- ja Garnet-malleilla. Nämä kaksi vetoavat tällä hetkellä eniten.

Tämä vuorottelusysteemi ei oikein nyt toimi minulla, joten taidan jättää tämän kokeilun tähän. Vaihtelen kuitenkin sivupalkkiin aina työn alla olevien projektien kuvia. Todennäköisesti pistelen kahta työtä samaan aikaan, toisen ollessa HAED ja toinen jotain muuta. HAED-malleja teen varmaankin sivun kerrallaan (tai puoli sivua, jos sivu sisältää valtavasti yksittäispistoja) ja näitä muita vaihtelen aina sen mukaan kuin vaan siltä tuntuu.

This rotation isn't working for me, so I'll dump it. I'll change the WIP pictures on the side bar when I change my project. But I'll be stitching two projects on the same time, another one will be HAED and the other non-HAED. I'll be probably doing page by page rotation on my HAED's (or a half of the page if it's really confetti-heavy one) and the non-HAED will change when ever I feel like it.

Rotation

Päätin yrittää uutta pistelyiden vaihtosysteemiä. Kasvavien töiden ohella on vaikea pistellä kaikkia, joten ajattelin kokeilla tätä. Koska vaihtelen töitä hieman liian usein (en jaksa pistellä yhtä työtä montaa päivää pidempää), ei edistymistä oikein tahdo huomata. Siksipä ajattelin nyt valita joka kuukaudelle kolme työtä (täysin vapaaehtoisuuden pohjalta, eli mitkä kolme tahansa minua eniten kiehtovat), joihin sitten keskityn sen kuukauden aikana ja jätän muut sivuun. Joka kuukauden valinnat näykyvät (ja vaihtuvat) aina sivupalkissa.

I've decided to try a new rotation system. Because increasing amount of WIP's it's difficult keep them all updated, so I figured this out. I must have several projects going on (in other case I'll give up on stitching), but my problem is I love them all. So I stitch the first one for few days, switch it to another one,get bored and switch for the third and so on. I never see the progress on one project because I'm jumping around and get bored with the current WIP. So my plan is I'll choose three WIP's for every month. There's no obligation which one I should choose, just these three who are calling me the loudest. You can see my choices for every month on the side bar.

Aloitin Wrathin uudestaan, koska en ollut tyytyväinen kankaaseen. 28ct pisteltynä yhden langan yli on hieman liian pientä minulle. Joten tässä kuva valmiista työstä vielä uudestaan:

I restarted Wrath 18th on October. I want to put her picture again, I find her absolutely stunning.


Nyt olen tehnyt ensimmäisen sivun ja toisesta melkein puolet. Lisään kuvan , kunhan irrotan kankaan noista Q-snapseista. Nämä kuolemansynnit kiehtovat valtavasti, haluaisin oikeastaan ostaa ne kaikki! Koko on sitten toinen juttu (240 000 pistoa tarkoittaa yli 40 A4:sta per työ...), joten minun tarvitsee varmaankin tyytyä vain pariin. Tällä hetkellä Avarice (ahneus) ja Gluttony (mässäily) ovat toivelistani kärkipäässä, mutta kaukana näistä kahdesta ei ole myöskään Vanity (suora suomennos on turhamaisuus, mutta kuolemansynneissä puhutaan usein myös ylpeydestä). Ehkäpä ensi alessa näistä jokin rantautuu taas minun koneelleni... :)

I've done the first page and almost half way through from the second, but I'll add a picture after removing her from the Q-snaps. I've been drooling over these deadly sins and I'd really want them all. But because they all are enourmous (240 000 stitches, which is over 40 pages), I'll probably have to settle for few of them. At least Avarice and Gluttony are in the top of my wish list, but Vanity is also gorgeus and close to these two. Maybe from the next sale.... :)
