QS A Bunch of Love

Olette varmaankin melkoisen kyllästyneitä tähän tätiin, koska päivityskuvia siitä tulee niin tiuhaan tahtiin.

 
But...hang in there, next week will be something totally different! I've made a new start this morning and it's a chart you haven't seen here before :) I must say that I'm totally in love with it. I love the fabric I've chosen, I love the chart (including also the charting, it's so comfortable to read) and I love the colours. But it will remain as a mystery until next week, see you then ;)

Mutta...ensi viikolla onkin luvassa ihan jotain muuta! Aloitin uuden työn ja se onkin sellainen, jota en ole tässä blogissa aiemmin tuonut esille :) Täytyy sanoa, että olen totaalisen innoissani siitä työstä. Valitsin täydellisen kankaan, rakastan mallia (myös ohje on ihanan helppolukuinen) ja värit ovat upeat. Mutta mallin ja nimen näettekin vasta ensi viikolla, nähdään silloin ;)

Garnet

I have entrance exams in June and there're some materials that need to be studied in advance. But when you're looking at before and after pics, it's quite obvious that my time hasn't gone with studies, lol :)

Minulla on pääsykokeet kesäkuussa ja ennakkomateriaalia opiskeltavana. Mutta kun ennen ja jälkeen kuvia katsoo, on melko selvää että aikani ei ole tällä viikolla kulunut päntätessä, hehheh :)

There're only two columns left in the first row, so I'll probably finish it next round. Now it's time for QS A Bunch of Love.

Tästä riviltä on jäljellä enää kaksi 10x10 saraketta, joten varmaankin saan sen ensi kerralla valmiiksi. Mutta nyt on taas QS A Bunch of Love-mallin vuoro.

QS A Bunch of Love

It's funny how you can't see a progress whilst working on a project...

On aika hassua, miten työn edistymistä ei pistellessä huomaa lainkaan...

Here's where I started from at the beginning of the year. And you can actually see the difference :)

Sillä tästä lähdin pistelemään vuoden alusta. Ja muutoksen kuitenkin huomaa :)

Faces of Faery 187 & Passione Ricamo Mystery (2012)

I finished the third page and the first row of pages (sorry, the pic seems a bit wonky). I thought it was a dragon's tail next to her hair, but just figured she has wings, lol.

Sain kolmannen sivun ja ensimmäisen sivurivin valmiiksi (kuva näyttää olevan vähän kiero, pahoitteluni). Luulin pisteleväni lohikäärmeen häntää hiusten vieressä, mutta tajusinkin että tytöllä on siivet, hah.

I finally finished the backstitches and beading in the central design of Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL (2012). I'm not going to add the backstitches to the wings, in my opinion they are beautiful as they are now (plus I didn't like the colour the designer has chosen to them). There are still loads of beading to do in the border, so I'm still far of the finish. Here are two pics so you could actually see the beading.

Sain valmiiksi viimein Passione Ricamo Mystery yhteispistelyn (2012) jälkipistot ja helmet kiinni itse keijuun. En aio tehdä jälkipistoja lainkaan siipiin, minusta ne eivät sitä kaipaa (enkä pitänyt suunnittelijan valitsemasta väristä). Vielä on jäljellä runsaasti helmen kiinnitystä mallin kiertävään reunukseen, joten valmis tämä ei vielä ole. Ohessa kaksi kuvaa, jotta helmet näkyisivät paremmin.

I've decided to rearrange my rotation. I feel burnt out of some wip's, especially these two (FoF187 and PR Mystery). And I've been feeling quite overwhelmed after taking more wip's "on hold"-status to the rotation, so it's time to cut down the amount and start over. I'll start with two and increase the amount when it feels like it. The wip's I'm starting with are QS A Bunch of Love and Garnet. These are the one's I'm most in love with at the moment.

Olen päättänyt uudelleenjärjestää pistelysysteemiäni. Olen ollut melkoisen tympiintynyt joihinkin töihini, varsinkin näihin kahteen (Faces of Faery 187 ja PR Mystery-yhteispistely). Sen jälkeen kun olen lisäillyt töitä pistelylaatikkoon "odotus"-statuksesta, olen ollut vähän häkeltynyt siitä, mitä pistellä seuraavaksi. Joten nyt on aika taas siivota pöytä ja aloittaa alusta. Aloitan kahdesta ja lisään töitä sitä mukaa kun hyvältä tuntuu. Aloitan nyt QS A Bunch of Love- ja Garnet-malleilla. Nämä kaksi vetoavat tällä hetkellä eniten.

QS A Bunch of Love

I managed to do quite much, although I first thought I hadn't had much time to stitch.

Sainkin aika paljon aikaa menneellä viikolla, vaikka luulin ettei pistelyaikaa ollut paljoakaan.

Faces of Faery 187 is anxiously waiting for a page finish, so I should probably obey. After that (there're only around 700 stitches left to do) I don't know if I'm going to carry on to the second row or move on to the next wip.

Faces of Faery 187 on seuraavana pistelyvuorossa, teen sen kolmannen sivun loppuun. Sen jälkeen (toisin sanoen noin 700 piston) en tiedä, vaihdanko jo mallia vai jatkanko toiselle riville.

Garnet

There's not much left to stitch in the top row. On the other hand I'm pretty anxious to get to the second row, but I'm not sure if I should alternate this with Diamond. So should I put this on hold for awhile once the row's finished and do the second row of Diamond, or carry on with Garnet without stopping? (I've done two pages from the second row of Diamond, so there're three full and one partial left). Decisions, decisions... ;) But now I'll spend a week with QS A Bunch of Love.

Tältä ensimmäiseltä sivuriviltä ei ole paljoakaan enää jäljellä pisteltävänä. Olen toisaalta innostunut aloittamaan uuden sivurivin, mutta toisaalta en tiedä, että pitäisikö minun vuorotella tätä Diamond-mallin kanssa. Joten laittaisinko tämän työn sivuun, kunhan rivi on valmis ja pistelen Diamond-mallia toisen rivin verran vai jatkanko pelkästään Garnet-mallin kanssa? (Olen Diamond-mallissa siis tehnyt toiselta riviltä jo kaksi sivua, eli jäljellä on kolme kokonaista ja yksi osittainen sivu.) Saapa nähdä... ;) Mutta nyt pistelen viikon QS A Bunch of Love-mallia.

Tässä top neloseni HAED-malleista 'pakko joskus pistellä'-listalta (ei missään erityisessä järjestyksessä, koska näiden järjestys tuntuu vaihtuvan koko ajan). ....and something from SPML, which can be Vertical Aspirations, Ripples or Secret Places 3 (this keeps changing too, almost daily.) One of these will be my next new start, once I've decided which one and have kitted everything up. I'd love to hear your favourite :)

QS Theatre of the Absurd

Heh, kuten Alicia viime postauksen kommenteissa toivoi, tässä työ nyt valmiina! ;)

This is my third HAED finish (the previous one's were QS Fragile Heart and SK Ice Wind). I can't decide what to start next (there're four charts crying for my attention) so for now I'll carry on with the rotation I have.

Tämä on kolmas valmiiksi saamani HAED-malli (edelliset olivat QS Fragile Heart ja SK Ice Wind). En pysty päättämään mitä aloittaisin seuraavaksi, oikeastaan neljä eri mallia ovat kaikki yhtä ihania. Joten toistaiseksi jatkan näitä nykyisiä pisteltäviäni.

Faces of Faery 187

Not much of progress, my stitchy bug decided to take a hiatus. It's longing for a new start, so maybe I should make one so it would remain pleased. Just haven't made up my mind yet, whether I should keep the start small or go for something bigger (read: whatever fancies). But for now I'll be working on QS Theatre for a week.

Ei paljon edistystä, pistelyinnostukseni päätti pitää väliviikon. Haluaisin aloittaa jotain uutta, joten ehkäpä minun sitten pitää jotta innostus palaisi. En vain ole vielä päättänyt, aloittaisinko jotain pientä vai sitten ihan mitä tahansa haluan (eli toisin sanoen jotain suurempaa). Nyt kuitenkin pistelen viikon verran QS Theatre-mallia.

Sunrise

Sorry, this update is a bit late. We made a short trip during the weekend and I didn't have an access to a computer.

Anteeksi tämä päivitys tulee hieman myöhässä. Olimme reissussa viikonlopun, eikä minulla ollut mahdollisuutta tietokoneelle.

I like the way the wing has turned out. There're loads of confetti so I added a little bit to a sky too (it gave me a break from the constant color changes). I planned a new start for this week, but decided to put it off for a few weeks. I want to make more progress on the current wip's and benefit from an extra week this month has. Next update will be on FoF187 :)

Tykkään siitä, miltä siipi näyttää pisteltynä. Värin vaihtoa on paljon, joten pistelin myös hieman taivasta saadakseni vähän vaihtelua pistelytyyliin. Suunnittelin uuden työn aloittamista tällä viikolla, mutta päätinkin siirtää sitä muutamalla viikolla. Haluan saada näitä nykyisiä töitä enemmän eteenpäin ja ottaa hyödyn irti tästä ylimääräisestä viikosta, joka tässä kuussa on. Nyt pistelen Faces of Faery 187-mallia :)

Mermaid (Marchetti)

I've been stitching the background (and the dome) for the past week. Again, sorry for the wrinkles!

Olen pistellyt taustaa (ja kupua) viimeisen viikon ajan. Taas kerran, anteeksi työn ryppyisyys!

This is the fourth page in the first row (there're nine pages in a row), but I'm thinking of moving on to the second row after the page is finished/her turn is next time (whatever fancies me more). I'm going to pick Sunrise next, it's been quite awhile since I've worked on her.

Tämä on neljäs sivu ensimmäisellä rivillä (yhdellä rivillä on yhdeksän sivua), mutta ajattelin siirtyä toiselle riville joko ensi kerralla tai kun olen saanut tämän sivun valmiiksi (kumpi sattuu tuolloin houkuttamaan enemmän). Nyt ajattelin kaivaa esiin Sunrise-mallin, siitä on jokunen tovi kun olen sitä mallia viimeksi pistellyt.
