Sunrise

The first page was quick, as you can see it's really big blocks of colours (I had to use the flash, so the colours seem to be too bright) :

And I actually made a start of a butterfly too. Next I'll concentrate on Wrath, she has been on hold for ages.

I finished the first page, and there's only a few rows in the second (mainly her head). Now I'll concentrate on Sunrise until I have the first page finished.

Sain ensimmäisen sivun valmiiksi, toisella sivulla ei ole paljoa jäljellä pisteltävää (lähinnä kissan pää). Nyt keskityn Sunrise-malliin siihen asti, että saan ensimmäisen sivun pisteltyä.

There'll be IHSW in the next weekend, so it's the "Sorry" cat's turn. But before that/and during the weekend I'll stitch also Sunrise (it's the only goal from the half year's goals on HAED BB that I haven't reached yet).

Seuraavaksi on IHSW:n vuoro, mutta sitä ennen/samaan aikaan pistelen myös Sunrise-mallin ensimmäistä sivua (viimeinen puolen vuoden tavoite saavuttamatta HAED BB:lla).

I'll stitch Fragile Heart next as I need one more progress picture to HAED BB. And she'll be one of my next year's goals too.

And because HAED is going to retire Drazenka Kimpel (a link to her charts), I had to get this Impetuous Arrival. But there won't be a start anytime soon as I have more than enough on my plate now :) I'm still debating with myself about Purple Orchid. I'm not sure whether I need her in my stash or not, but because it's the last chance to get her I might give in.

HAED aikoo lopettaa yhteistyön Drazenka Kimpel:in (linkki hänen malleihinsa) kanssa, minun piti hankkia tämä Impetuous Arrival. Mutta aloitus on vasta joskus hamassa tulevaisuudessa, tässä on tarpeeksi töitä kesken :) Mietin vielä Purple Orchid:in ostamista, koska en ole varma onko se sellainen pakko saada-ostos. Now I've reached one of my yearly goals in this blog, which was reaching the halfway of this project. And now all my yearly goals on HAED BB have been achieved too. Next I'll concentrate on Diamond for a page or two.

Saavutin asettamani vuositavoitteen tässä blogissa, eli nyt olen pistellyt 50% koko mallista. (Samalla saavutin kaikki vuositavoitteet HAED BB:lla.) Seuraavaksi keskityn hetkeksi aikaa Diamond:iin sivun tai parin ajaksi.

I had to use the flash due to the minor day light, so the white looks much more brighter than it really is. I'll start the next page from this one, as I have only one page to go of my yearly goals.

Piti käyttää salamaa sillä päivänvaloa oli aivan liian vähän saatavilla. Siitä johtuen valkoinen näyttää kirkkaammalta kuin se oikeasti onkaan. Aloitan tästä seuraavan sivun, sillä enää yksi sivu jäljellä koko vuoden tavoitteistani.

IHSW and the "Sorry" cat

It now seems like a bunch of colours (with a couple of letters), but it was fun to stitch. She will be my IHSW project for now on, so I'll get back to her in November (and hopefully get her bottom finished :D). I have to give a credit to the designer, the colours in the cat's fur are great. I was a little bit suspicious as this was only a small design in a leaflet (Cattitudes "The Sixth Litter" from Jeanette Crews Designs), but the outcome is great IRL. I'll definitely try another chart too.

Tällä hetkellä se näyttää vain väriläiskältä (parin kirjaimen kanssa), mutta kisua oli hauska pistellä. Teen tästä nyt IHSW-projektin, joten tämän parissa jatkan marraskuussa (ja toivottavasti saan katin persuksen valmiiksi :D). Ja täytyy antaa tunnustus tämän mallin suunnittelijoille, sillä värit kissan turkissa ovat erinomaiset. Olin hieman epäileväinen ennen alkua, sillä tämä oli vain yksi pieni malli lehtisessä (Cattitudes "The Sixth Litter" Jeanette Crews Designs:ilta), mutta tämän jälkeen tulen varmastikin kokeilemaan jotain toistakin mallia.

Ice Wind SK and IHSW

Well here's my progress after a few days:

I'm not happy with the colours in her neck and dress, that's the main reason why I wanted to put her on hold again. But I've always finished everything what I started, so she'll be finished eventually. But now it's time for IHSW (it's been ages since I've joined last time!) and I've decided to have a fresh start :) This kitty got her first stitches yesterday, so the next update will be after the weekend.

En ole tyytyväinen kaulan ja puvun väreihin, se on suurin syy miksi tämä pistelyosuus jäi näin lyhyeksi. Mutta koska pistelen aina loppuun kaiken, minkä olen aloittanutkin, tulee tämäkin varmasti joku päivä valmiiksi. Mutta nyt alkaa IHSW (International Hermit and Stith Weekend) ja päätin aloittaa vaihteeksi jotain aivan muuta :) Joten tämä kisu sai ensimmäiset pistonsa eilen. Päivitän tämän alun edistymisen viikonlopun jälkeen.

A Bunch of Love

This is definitely the most challenging project I've ever stitched, the confetti is unbelievable. But now I've achieved one of my yearly goals on HAED BB, so three down and one to go (which is 1½ pages further of SHH Now)! :) But next I'll concentrate on Ice Wind so I'll get the second progress picture (if I post three progress pictures in six months, I'm entitled to the other freebies).

Ja selvennykseksi vielä, että tämä on ollut ehdottomasti kaikista vaikein pisteltäväni, koska värinvaihtoa on ihan koko ajan. Mutta nyt olen saavuttanut taas uuden vuositavoitteen HAED BB:lla, joten kolme saavutettu ja yksi saavuttamatta (joka on siis 1½ sivua vielä pidemmälle SHH Now:sta)! :) Seuraavaksi pistelen kuitenkin muutaman päivän ajan Ice Wind:ia, koska haluan edistymiskuvan lokakuulta (jotta saan lunastettua vuoden lopussa muut ilmaismallit).
