The first finish of the year!

I finished her a week ago, but I've been too busy to blogging about it:

The colours are off due the flash, but it's the best I can get at the moment. I'll finish QS Fragile Heart next, but you'll get a peek when it's time for a WIPocalypse post :)

Värit ovat väärät salaman takia, mutta se on paras jonka voin saada tällä hetkellä. Pistelen QS Fragile Heart:in seuraavaksi valmiiksi, mutta siitä tulette saamaan esimakua seuraavassa WIPocalypse postauksessa :)

IHSW and the "Sorry" cat

Here's my progress after the IHSW weekend:

It now seems like a bunch of colours (with a couple of letters), but it was fun to stitch. She will be my IHSW project for now on, so I'll get back to her in November (and hopefully get her bottom finished :D). I have to give a credit to the designer, the colours in the cat's fur are great. I was a little bit suspicious as this was only a small design in a leaflet (Cattitudes "The Sixth Litter" from Jeanette Crews Designs), but the outcome is great IRL. I'll definitely try another chart too.

Tällä hetkellä se näyttää vain väriläiskältä (parin kirjaimen kanssa), mutta kisua oli hauska pistellä. Teen tästä nyt IHSW-projektin, joten tämän parissa jatkan marraskuussa (ja toivottavasti saan katin persuksen valmiiksi :D). Ja täytyy antaa tunnustus tämän mallin suunnittelijoille, sillä värit kissan turkissa ovat erinomaiset. Olin hieman epäileväinen ennen alkua, sillä tämä oli vain yksi pieni malli lehtisessä (Cattitudes "The Sixth Litter" Jeanette Crews Designs:ilta), mutta tämän jälkeen tulen varmastikin kokeilemaan jotain toistakin mallia.

Well here's my progress after a few days:

I'm not happy with the colours in her neck and dress, that's the main reason why I wanted to put her on hold again. But I've always finished everything what I started, so she'll be finished eventually. But now it's time for IHSW (it's been ages since I've joined last time!) and I've decided to have a fresh start :) This kitty got her first stitches yesterday, so the next update will be after the weekend.

En ole tyytyväinen kaulan ja puvun väreihin, se on suurin syy miksi tämä pistelyosuus jäi näin lyhyeksi. Mutta koska pistelen aina loppuun kaiken, minkä olen aloittanutkin, tulee tämäkin varmasti joku päivä valmiiksi. Mutta nyt alkaa IHSW (International Hermit and Stith Weekend) ja päätin aloittaa vaihteeksi jotain aivan muuta :) Joten tämä kisu sai ensimmäiset pistonsa eilen. Päivitän tämän alun edistymisen viikonlopun jälkeen.

Some new Mira's! :) But I won't start either of them this year, I have way too many big projects to keep me going. But Mermaids of the deep (on the right) will be my next Mira start. And the blue linen is for another kitty, who's going to be started within this year.

Uusia Mirabilian malleja! :) Mutta en aloita kumpaakaan tämän vuoden puolella, työn alla on tarpeeksi monta isoa jo tähän mennessä. Mutta Mermaids of the deep (oikealla) tulee olemaan seuraava Mirabilian malli, jota pistelen. Ja kuvassa näkyvä sininen pellava on varattu tälle kisulle, jonka aloitan vielä tämän vuoden puolella.
